CNET Webware 100 Award

The Webware 100 Awards acknowledges the best web applications, web tools, web development platforms, and more.  I voted for Drupal for the Publishing Award (of course), Firefox for Browsing, Jabber for Communication and Facebook for Community.  What did you vote for?

Good and Bad News

The bad news is that I unfortunately didn't make it to the second day of Drupal Camp Toronto, so I can't post part 2 of my Drupal Camp notes. The good news, however, is that I talked with the people at TOJam and they're giving us until the 21st to prepare our game for final release. This means that I can put in some things that many people have requrested as well as some gameplay balancing.

Drupal Camp Toronto 2007 - Part 1

These are my notes from the first day at Drupal Camp Toronto. It's a two day event (May 11th and 12th) that covers some of the basics, as well as some of the advanced things, you can do with Drupal. Read on for details about the three sessions I attended today...

Drupal NonZero Theme now 5.x

The Drupal NonZero theme has a very pretty simplistic fluid red design and I thought I'd take the challenge of porting it to Drupal 5.x. I fixed up the port, added a few more functionality features, checked it into the Drupal.org repository and then made the release. Enjoy!

Linux Goodness

Chris and I headed over to this month's Drupal meet in Toronto, held at the Linux Cafe. We met a number of Drupal enthusiasts and talked about some of the new features in Drupal 5. Rob Milne showed off some amazing functionality using his new WebFM file manager for Drupal, Matt taught me a bit about Linux symbolic links so that I could correctly setup the multi-site system using Drupal, and I demonstrated some CCK and Views module theming mastery. Very productive night, and I look forward to the next one.
